Antique Architectural Column

Product Description:
Make a breathtaking, singular statement in your home with this monumental Antique Architectural Column. Standing at an impressive 67.5 inches tall, this incredible piece of history was salvaged from a historic hotel and masterfully converted into a functional, one-of-a-kind floor piece.

Crafted from solid structural timber, the column features a classically inspired fluted design resting on a robust, layered block plinth base. Its surface boasts an authentic, heavily layered, and deeply distressed white painted finish. Decades of natural weathering have created a spectacular, character-rich patina where the dark, rich wood grain peeks through chips and flaking paint layers, offering an irreplaceable primitive farmhouse or shabby-chic aesthetic. Mounted directly to the fluted face is a beautiful, traditional wall sconce fixture complete with a matching tapered cream fabric shade that casts a warm, inviting glow.
Versatile Styling Ideas:
  • Living Room Focal Feature: Anchor the corner of a living room next to a leather armchair or a linen sofa to create an instant, conversation-starting reading nook.
  • Grand Entryway Statement: Place it in a foyer or hallway against a crisp wall to welcome guests with historic warmth and architectural grandeur.
  • Master Bedroom Accent: Position it as a unique, sculptural light fixture beside a bed or in a bedroom corner to complement a rustic, cozy aesthetic.
