Antique Primitive Dry Sink
This stunning early PA dry sink dates back to the very mid 1800’s and the wear marks help to tell a little more along the way. Made of indigenous wood, this stout piece is crafted very primitively, reflecting the utilitarian era of this part of the country at that time.
Originally used for practical purposes, today dry sinks are often repurposed as decorative pieces, storage units, or display tables in homes with rustic, farmhouse, or country-style décor. They are also often used in kitchens or bathrooms as vintage-inspired furniture, with the "dry sink" area now serving as a countertop or display surface for plants, toiletries, or other items.
